Operation Noah is hiring a self-employed Fundraising Officer for 14 hours a week. The application deadline has now been extended to Sunday 11 February 2024, 11.59pm.

The contract period will be for an initial six months which could be extended with further funding.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to work alongside the Bright Now Campaign Director to ensure further funding for the Bright Now campaign. The Bright Now campaign encourages UK Churches to divest from fossil fuel companies and invest in climate solutions – working with partners in the UK and globally.

Operation Noah has also received grant funding to scale up our work with UK Churches and faith institutions on investment in climate solutions, such as renewable energy. We are also working with partners on a campaign to encourage the Church of England to increase tree coverage on its land and improve its land management practices, given the urgent climate and biodiversity crises.

The Fundraising Officer position is a part-time role, working 14 hours per week, with flexibility around how the hours can be worked. The person in this role will be self-employed. On occasion you may be requested to attend the office (Waterloo, London) for meetings, though most of the work can be done remotely. This will be an initial 6-month contract, which could be extended with further funding.

If you would like to apply for this role, please email admin@operationnoah.org by 11.59pm on Sunday 11 February 2024 with your CV and a cover letter.

Candidates will be shortlisted on Monday 12 February 2024 with online interviews held on 15 February 2024.
