Operation Noah’s annual Supporters’ Event on Saturday 18 June at 10.30am is an opportunity to learn more about our work, hear from inspiring Christian speakers on climate and the environment and explore an environmental topic that interests you via one of our short workshops. This year’s Supporters’ Event – ‘Alternatives to Fossil Fuelled Violence: Listening to our Global Neighbours’ – will again be online and will be chaired by Shilpita Mathews, an Operation Noah trustee.

Our panellists looked at five wealthy countries (the US, UK, Australia, Norway and Canada) with a particularly large gap between their green rhetoric and their plans to increase fossil fuel production.

Organised by Operation Noah and Young Christian Climate Network, the vigil outside the Church of England’s headquarters was a ‘lament’ for the Church’s continued investment in fossil fuels.
Our free webinar on Tuesday 31 May will focus on five key countries which have yet to lead by example on climate, as well as on three important actions that Churches and faith communities can take in response to environmental inaction by governments: fossil fuel divestment; support for the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty; and opposition to all new fossil fuel developments.
