We’re thrilled to announce that Operation Noah’s Bright Now Campaign has been shortlisted for ‘Campaign of the Year’ by the Sheila McKechnie Foundation as part of the National Campaigner Awards. The nomination recognises our longstanding campaign to get UK Churches to divest from fossil fuels and invest in climate solutions.

As the UK prepares for a General Election later this year, churches can advocate for the protection of climate and nature now by pressing candidates to support the Climate and Nature Bill. Operation Noah has teamed up with Green Christian to put together a General Election pack to help churches to do just this. Our General Election pack includes written prayers, sermon ideas and other resources to get your church engaged with the climate and nature crises at this crucial time.

Earlier this year, Operation Noah, Just Love, and JustMoney launched The Big Bank Switch campaign, inviting Christians around the UK to align their money with their values by switching from a bank that funds planet-destroying fossil fuels to one that doesn’t. We are now encouraging churches around the country to hold a ‘Switch It Sunday’ service, and have developed resources to make it easy to do so. Our ‘Switch It Sunday’ resource pack includes written prayers, suggested hymns and songs, scripture readings, and more.
